Hi there I'm a person that hadn't touched a pencil or a brush in 16 years. All of a sudden about a month ago, after surfing DeviantART, I had this urge to buy me a case of coloured pencils and try out, you know... just for the fun of it. What came out of my hand was not nearly what I expected. Having never taken art classes or learned anything additional to what was tought in basic elementary school art classes, these drawings were far superior to what I should be capable of doing.
